THEY SAID IT......
2008 Chicago Bears Youth Football Camps Parent Comments

My son has loved the camp so far! He is learning all sorts of football skills. I am very impressed with the whole camp...the check in/out is simple....campers are not running around in the gym before the start of camp....the coaches know their stuff....it is very organized and kids need that. I am happy because he is so happy! Thanks for asking for feedback!
Chrissy L., parent of Arlington Heights camper

He absolutely LOVED his first day at Bears camp! I especially appreciated how welcoming and nice the coaches welcomed us at the door, shaking our hands and making him feel like they were really happy he was there.

Michelle W., parent of Chicago - Franklin School camper

He is once again having a great experience at the Bears Camp! Coach Scott is running another terrific program this year for the boys and he is REALLY enjoying it and learning a lot!  Thank you for putting on such a great camp!
Christin U., parent of Winnetka camper

The camp is going great. The coaches treat all the boys with such class and compassion.  It has been another wonderful experience.
Jamie S., parent of Downers Grove camper

He has had a HUGE smile on his face at pick up for the last two days! He is having a really good time. The coaches have a nice sense of humor. We will plan to sign up again for next year.
Marla and Dan C., parents of Lake Forest camper

He very much enjoyed his week at the camp. This was his third year, and now as one of the older boys, I think he enjoyed seeing some of the younger kids as well. He met new people and had a lot of fun!

Jackie G., parent of Glen Ellyn camper

My son is really enjoying camp and we are very happy he is able to have this unique experience. I have been impressed with the organization, communication and professionalism of the staff, as well as the daily messages conveyed to the boys' that reinforce the values we try to teach at home. Thanks for asking for our feedback and please pass on our thanks to everyone involved in this week's camp.
Anastasia C., parent of Lincolnshire camper

FABULOUS! My son was CRAZY about this camp. We were worried the long day would be too much for our football-crazed 6 year old, but we were wrong. I never had to tell him twice in the morning to get ready and everyday he wanted to arrive early. The fun he had, the things he learned, the friends he made--what an experience. I can't say enough about these coaches either. They were so wonderful and friendly--really a super great staff. We can't wait until next year to go again. Thank you for EVERYTHING! What an incredible lifetime memory!
Maria S., parent of Orland Park camper

He is having a great time at the camp this year! Each day he has so much to tell me and really enjoyed meeting Mr. Pruitt today. When I picked him up this afternoon, he couldn't stop talking about the NFL Franchise video he saw! Plus at night he sleeps like a baby! I have no doubt that he won't be ready for practice next month. Thanks to you all for an outstanding job!
Pamela L., parent of Schaumburg camper

Thanks for requesting our feedback! He has come home from camp and told us that he's having lots of fun. He was very excited today to tell us about his experience with Al Harris. Al's stories about his start in football were inspiring to him because he hasn't had much experience with football prior to this camp. His Dad and I appreciate the fact that part of the camp focuses on nutrition because it is reinforcing what we try to teach in our home.
Karen A., parent of Prospect Heights camper

He is having a great time at camp this year. He came home yesterday with all sorts of nutrition info and today told me how important it is to keep hydrated. I think Mickey is great and really inspires the kids.
Sally L., parent of Evanston camper

My son said the Chicago Bears camp experience is going great. He is excited every morning to get to the camp that he wakes up an hour early and wants to arrive at the camp 30-45 minutes before it starts. He's made so many connections with his teammates. He is very serious about football and said that learning from the best makes him want to work harder. Thank you so much for having a camp like this. This has been the cherry on the already perfect sundae for his summer break. Love it!
Kelly L., parent of Chicago - Rauner YMCA camper

They love camp; especially the coaches --really, this is what they keep saying!  Wonderful program, keep it up!

Astra G., parent of Chicago - Latin School campers

I have to say that this has been such an incredible experience for him. Every day he would come home from camp exhausted, but not too tired to tell us all about what a great time he had, how the coaches were great, and how he made many new friends. What a great job all of you do getting this program out to the kids. The coaches were always fair and patient with all the kids, regardless of their age or ability. Thank you to you and all the support personnel and staff at Chicago Bears Youth Football Camps for making this such a memorable and rewarding experience for our son.  He has always been a Bears fan but this has just made him a fan for life!
Ruben and Judi V., parents of Mokena camper

He is enjoying the camp this week. He says that the coaching staff is awesome, and it has been a positive experience for him. Hearing from the heroes has been one of the week's highlights. He is a rookie and is benefiting from all that is being taught.
Sally C., parent of Wheaton camper

He is having a great time! He is up and out of bed early every morning looking forward to camp. He says that his coaches are the best. He gives a complete rundown when he gets home of everything he has learned that day - and it sounds like he's learning a lot.
Jack O., parent of Algonquin camper

I picked him up today, after his second day, and he has already asked if he can sign up for next year. He is enjoying camp immensely.  He is learning a lot about the game and is having a lot of fun as well. This is his first experience within a structured football environment and he is having a great time learning and playing the game he loves.
Jennifer K., parent of Bolingbrook camper

It couldn't be better. He has diabetes, and the staff has been very attuned to that
and very helpful. I was very impressed, and I am very grateful that they are so conscientious.
Mary B., parent of Chicago - St. Ignatius camper

He is enjoying the camp - this is his second year. The coaches are encouraging and very positive.

Maria M., parent of Chicago - St. Ignatius camper

He is really enjoying this experience. He loves meeting some of the old players, learning how to play the game and of course being part of a team concept.

Phyllis K., parent of Lake Forest camper

He has come home each day sweaty and smiling!  He tells me he has learned a lot each day about positions, running, throwing, eating, and hydrating.  He is really enjoying camp and all he is learning.  He really enjoyed meeting a former Bear today!  He is looking forward to each day and considering he is very shy and doesn't know any children there that says a lot to me!  Thanks for asking.
Victoria D., parent of Glenview camper

Heıs a huge football fan and is enjoying camp. He's learning a lot & likes the coaching. Thanks!
Tina P., parent of Northfield camper

He loves it!  He's having a great time and learning a lot. And I love that the coaches are taking such good care of the campers in this heat. They are applying sun screen a couple of extra times and making sure the kids take lots of water and shade breaks. Thanks for everything.
Michelle S., parent of Lincolnshire camper

He is having a great time at the camp this year. It is a real learning experience for the kids & a great chance to meet some former Bear's players. The guys that take their time to put this camp together & help these kids are very commendable. He loves this camp & looks forward to coming every year.
Jodi S., parent of Rockford camper

He is having a great time. Didn't care for baseball camp for 1 1/2 hours per day but loves football camp for all 6! After 2 days I already see his confidence and self esteem improving. That in itself is well worth the time and financial commitment. Thank you.
Gretchen H., parent of Westchester camper

He is LOVING Bears camp so thank you for all you have done to make it such a fantastic experience for him!
Lisa L., parent of Oak Brook camper

He absolutely loves it. He comes home pumped up everyday about what he learned, who he met and new friends he is making!
Tim F., parent of Barrington camper

He is having a great camp experience.  He is excited to get going in the morning and tells me each day that this was one of his best days ever. His favorite is the scrimmages and he is definitely learning about the game of football. Thanks and we look forward to signing up again.

Mara G., parent of Chicago - Latin School camper

They had the time of their lives last week in Downers Grove. They already asked if I can sign them up again for next year.

Hats off to Jamie and Chris - they worked so hard and did very well with the kids. I really enjoyed them as they managed the kids very well. It is not easy to take care of 60 plus kids and they are to be commended. They were kind and courteous to the boys and they were very compassionate and empathetic. They had the boy's best interests at heart. Their concern about food, hydration, sun-screen and hats was exceptional. I felt that the kids were in good hands with Jamie and Chris.

The coaching-staff was phenomenal. Mickey Pruitt and the crew were delightful and engaging. The boys learned lots. I really enjoyed the relationship the coaches had with each other and with the kids. Rigs, Muscles, Lorenzo, Hancock, and I am sure I am missing one or two others, resonated well with the kids. My boys enjoyed the coaches very much.

Thank you for allowing us to come. What a delight. The camp was great and every kid - whether he intends to play football or not - should experience a Chicago Bears Youth Camp. Wow!

I want to thank you Natalie for all your hard work and administrative assistance. Without you there would be no camp, so thanks for your attention to the details.

Fred K., parent of Downers Grove campers

He is having a great time! What he has learned at the camp about how important it is to exercise and eat nutritional foods is helping to enforce what we've taught him at home, but in a FUN atmosphere!

Tammie D., parent of Chicago - Washington Park camper

Wow! I am really impressed with the level of communication you have given to us! He had a great time yesterday and was excited to go back today. Thanks for checking in.
Sharon H., parent of Glen Ellyn camper

They are both having a great time! They really enjoyed their first day at camp yesterday! They had so much to tell me when I picked them up yesterday. They learned some new things and made a few new friends already on the first day. They are looking forward to the rest of the week!
Christine W., parent of two Libertyville campers

He loves it; couldn't stop talking about it last night. Thanks for giving him such a great experience!
Jack M., parent of Lincolnshire camper

My son is having THE BEST time! Thanks for checking in. I wish he could do this all summer long!

Samantha K., parent of Chicago - Latin School camper

He is having a great time at camp this week in Winnetka. I was very impressed the first day with how the check in was so organized. I like how the safety of the campers was stressed. He loves meeting the football heroes and learning how to be a better player.
Sara N., parent of Winnetka camper

He is enjoying the camp a lot! He says it is the coolest camp on earth! He will definitely recommend it to all his friends. Thank you so much for the opportunity!
Jorge S., parent of Chicago - St. Ignatius camper

It has been a wonderful experience so far for our son. The coaches are great, I would highly recommend the camp to our friends.
Carol F., parent of Chicago - Latin School camper

He loves it! He's enjoying all the instruction he's been getting so far, spending time with his friends and just playing football. I am finding it extremely organized to drop off and pick up and have seen a little of the end of the day instruction and I am impressed with it all!
Teri Z., parent of Burr Ridge camper

Oh, my God! He's loving it. He has a lot of fun and has started to drink lots of water because his coach told him to do so! He is planning on attending again next year, too. Thanks for asking about his experience.
Haleh S., parent of Arlington Heights camper

He and his friend are having a blast! Thank You!
Kevin T., parent of Algonquin camper

He is having a great time at camp this week.  He loves it, and we love hearing about his experience. I especially appreciate hearing about the instruction he has received about nutrition, education and physical fitness.  He also has really seemed to enjoy learning the rules and plays and "mental" part of the game of football (as well as the physical aspect, of course).  It seems the values he is learning at football camp this summer mirror the values we treasure at home. Thanks for a great camp.
Angela C., parent of Orland Park camper

He loved this football camp! He will definitely be returning for next year's camp! This was professionally run and all the staff was professional yet personable. He said this was by far his favorite camp ever! This was well worth the money! Thanks for a great introduction to football and for making a bigger Bears fan out of my son!
Lorrie S., parent of Rockford camper

They love it!
Pamela A., parent of Northfield campers

He loves it so far. I think the program is wonderful and very rewarding. Thank you for making this opportunity available.
Misty H., parent of Mokena camper

He is having a blast. I can't believe that I can actually get him out of bed. He really gets excited to meet the retired players, and he tells me the play-by-play about some of the drills.
Tricia B., parent of Libertyville camper

He is loving Bears football camp. He looks forward to going every day, has learned a lot about what to eat and drink and also gets to meet real live football players. He has made new friends and when football starts for him in August, he will already be in the swing of things. Thank you so much for asking!

Lorie H., parent of Glenview camper

He loves the Chicago Bears Football Camp. This is his third year and he could not be a bigger fan. The team of kids and coaches you provide are exceptional! Keep up the great work!

Robin and John P., parents of Lake Forest camper

Mary Jo C., parent of Elmhurst campers

It is going wonderful. They love it!
Brandi H., parent of Chicago - Washington Park campers

He absolutely loved it, he woke up so excited to go back. He talked about camp all night last night. As a parent I was so impressed by the camp... from the greeters waiting outside, to the easy efficient registration, to the friendly and professional staff.

Vicki M., parent of Chicago - Franklin School camper

The camp in Evanston is going great! You guys are great and so encouraging!
Jason L., parent of Evanston camper

He loves the Bears Football Camp. On Monday he woke up at 5:00 am to start getting ready for camp and then when I went to pick him up he said he wanted to stay longer. Needless to say he is having a great time. Thank you so much for providing this opportunity for the children.
Nicole A., parent of Schaumburg camper

Thank you for asking for parents input! He LOVES the camp and I have to say I am enjoying watching him and all of the boys learn new skills from very skilled, passionate coaches. We also like meeting former Bears players, very cool for the kids! We will be back.
Jason T., parent of Wheaton camper

He LOVES it. He said it was cool and fun. He had no problem getting up early on summer break.
Joanne C., parent of Prospect Heights camper

He is nonstop talking about it once I pick him up, and in the morning before we go, he just continues. He really liked meeting a "real Chicago Bear" and is looking forward to meeting another one today. I think this has been a wonderful experience for our son.
Judy K., parent of Oak Brook camper

He is loving every minute it! Thanks for checking.
Amy O., parent of Barrington camper

He is having a great time! He's really liking the program and is happy you have a peanut-free area for him during lunch.
Cyndy B., parent of Lincolnshire camper

He is having such a good time. The program is very organized and I am very pleased with it.

Sarai T., parent of Chicago - Rauner YMCA camper

He is LOVING camp again this year. He is coming home exhausted and pumped all at the same time! Today he made a first down and was extremely proud to share it with me. But the best part is that after telling me he had made the first down, he proceeded to explain in great detail -  what a first down is and how it benefits the whole team getting them closer to making a touch down! Now that's great coaching! I love that the coaches teach them the game but also use their love of the game to inspire the kids!

Mary D., parent of Chicago - Franklin School camper

Him and his buddy are relatively new to football but have the passion for it like no other. They return home after 6 hours and are so energized by their day at camp that they start at it again in the yard! When I ask what he did during the day, he can hardly finish a complete sentence since he's so excited to tell me about the next thing!

Jackie C., parent of Burr Ridge camper

He is loving his week at camp so far! He comes home eager to tell us about his day and wanting to practice his skills outside (his Dad is tired out). I am sure he will want to be back next year and he is already talking about saving his money so he can go to Bears Camp!

Korene P., parent of Barrington camper

He loves the Chicago Bears Youth Football camp so far. He came home the first day tired and happy and already asked us to sign him up again next year!

Bonnie F., parent of Chicago - Latin School camper

My son is really enjoying football camp so far. He rated it a 5 out of 5! He loved meeting Al Harris today and hearing him talk. Great program!
Wendy T., parent of Algonquin camper

Thank you for your email. My son loves camp and is having a great week! Very positive experience!
Lisa L., parent of Winnetka camper

My son is having a ball! He loves it.

Susan C., parent of Chicago - Latin School camper

He is having a great time! He wakes up each morning ready to go and runs out of the car forgetting to say good-bye! I am very pleased with the camp!
Kris F., parent of Orland Park camper

Thanks for your inquiry about how my son is enjoying the Schaumburg camp this week. As far as I can tell, he is having a very good time there. He talks a lot about what he has learned, and I think he is quite excited to meet the former Bears players. He's looking forward to the rest of the week.
Paul R., parent of Schaumburg camper

So far the camp is going great. He is absolutely loving it and taking it ALL very seriously. He has come home the last two nights to tell me and show me all he has learned about football and about taking good care of yourself. He doesn't want me to send chips in his lunch; he wants fruit. That doesn't usually happen!
Amy Morris, parent of Rockford camper

He is having the best time. He told me the first day went faster than the 2 1/2 hour lacrosse camp he was in a month ago. I'm loving it too! The energy of the coaches is so positive and it seems so well organized. I'm sure he'll be doing it next year!
Julie E., parent of Libertyville camper

So far, he is loving it! He came home today and couldn't wait to jump rope to "work on his footwork."
Wendy G., parent of Lake Forest camper

Thank you for your concern. He seems to be having a great time and learning a lot especially about nutrition. Yesterday my niece asked to go to McDonalds and he gave her a whole lecture on how bad it is for you. He also explained to all of us about dehydration.
Miriam Z., parent of Lake Forest camper

He loves the camp. He is charged up and is ready to go thanks to the positive reinforcement about having a healthy body and positive mental attitude. Thanks for a very wonderful experience!
Helen S., parent of Glenview camper

So far, so good.  Lots of positive comments about the coaches.

Bill B., parent of Chicago - Latin School camper

Every thing is going great. He is enjoying/learning immensely. Thank you for everything.

Connie C., parent of Algonquin camper

It's going great. He is having a lot of fun and likes it a lot. He is also learning a lot.
Rhona P., parent of Arlington Heights camper

I have been very impressed with this camp. All the coaches, Joe and Elizabeth are doing a great job. It was very nice to see the Bears alumni out there sharing their stories. Kevin Gallmeier and his staff are top notch and run a tight ship, much appreciated.
Greg H., parent of Orland Park camper

I asked him if he liked the first day, and he said no Mom - I LOVED IT! IT'S AWESOME! Thanks so much!
Sharon M., parent of Westchester camper

Thank you for the e-mail. Things are going very well. The kids are having a great time and coming home feeling positive about the day. Canıt ask for more! They really like the coaches! Thank you again for checking in.
Gina M., parent of two Barrington campers

He couldnıt stop talking about his first day, Iıve never seen him like that! I thought he would be tired because he has his regular football practice too, but believe it our not he was still full of energy when we got home yesterday evening. Thanks again.

Toni G., parent of Chicago - Washington Park camper

I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time my son is having. He comes home every day excited about football and can't wait to go back. I hear about all the of football stuff he is learning but also about the way "athletes" eed to take care of their bodies ie: nutrition, keeping hydrated, exercising, etc. And the best part, I have been told, is meeting the players. Keep up the good work. I'm sure we will be registering next year too.

Sue S., parent of Downers Grove camper

So far so good. He is enjoying the actual playing time as well as the information sessions.
Elizabeth W., parent of Evanston camper

My son is enjoying the camp. I appreciate you wanting our feedback. He is especially excited to have a few autographs for his t-shirt!
Ramona G., parent of Lake Forest camper

He came home Monday exclaiming that "this is the best camp ever!" He really had fun and felt welcomed and cared for.

Ann Marie P., parent of Glen Ellyn camper

He is having a fantastic time! I have never seen him move so quickly in the morning to get dressed and out of the house. He really seems to be enjoying it.
Sue S., parent of Prospect Heights camper

My son is enjoying all aspects of the camp and the staff appear to be quite friendly and courteous.
April H., parent of Naperville camper

I would like to thank you, all the coaches and anyone who was involved in the football camp this year. He absolutely loved football camp and wanted me to make sure he was signed up for next summer because it was the "best camp ever." Not only did he learn so much about football, but he made new friends that he misses greatly. I am thrilled that he had a great time. He was so excited about the new friends he made. Thanks again and we look forward to next year!

Scott R., parent of Chicago - Latin School camper

He is having a great time. This is his first experience with a summer camp and it's nice to see how enthusiastic he is about going to bed early so he can be properly 'rested' for his next big, action-packed day.

Michelle K., parent of Algonquin camper

Thank you for the inquiry. He enjoyed his first day of camp. He was particularly thrilled that some of his coaches play college football. He made friends quickly and was excited to go back this morning.
Vincent W., parent of Arlington Heights camper

He is LOVING football camp! He is meeting some friends, which is especially nice since we are just moving here from Pennsylvania and we do not know anyone yet.  He comes home VERY tired and can't wait to head out the door in the morning. I'm SURE it is something we will be planning on for next summer.
Sheila A., parent of Algonquin camper

Thanks for checking. He is having a great time once again. This is his third year in a row!
Gary D., parent of Rockford camper

He's loving it-we are considering doing another week.
Carol S., parent of Oak Brook camper

So far, so good! He seems to be enjoying it this year. He is learning a lot, and getting to play football, which is great. He likes getting attention/tips from the "older" guys so he can work on the game and improve. It appears to be well organized, with a good adult/kid ratio. It's hard work, but he hasn't complained about that, which is always a good sign!
Patrice M., parent of Libertyville camper

He is having a wonderful experience. He's learning so much about the game and individual skills. I was particularly excited about the knowledge he acquired from the nutrition video yesterday. He was filled with facts about the affect of what eating McDonalds excessively does to your body. I was very pleased about that. This is a wonderful program. Keep up the good work.

Gloria T., parent of Chicago - Franklin School camper

He is having a blast. He is really enjoying the camp. I haven't heard one negative thing about it. Nothing to complain about!

Kris A., parent of Burr Ridge camper

My boys are loving their experience at the Bears Football camp! When I pick them up each day they are bubbling over with stories of sacks and touchdowns and other athletic prowess!
Beth B., parent of Elmhurst campers

My son is enjoying the camp very much. Every day he has shared his whole experience with us.  He even sets up the kitchen like the coaches do on the field to show how the drills are done.
Lisa V., parent of Lake Forest camper

Thank you for your message. He is having a wonderful time so far at camp. He has come home both yesterday and today so excited! He is learning a lot, which he really enjoys as his passion right now is football. I know the rest of this week will go just as well as the past 2 days!

Lori M., parent of Lincolnshire camper

He is having a wonderful time.  Thank you so much for having this camp.

Robert K., parent of Barrington camper

All is good so far! He is enjoying it. Thank you!
Jennifer W., parent of Algonquin camper

Both of the boys love the camp and are having so much fun learning new things and meeting new people!
Victoria F., parent of Winnetka campers

The first day was so exciting for him. There were a couple of the same coaches he had last year who welcomed him back at the door. He was ecstatic!!!  He was extremely excited to see the schedule for the week and the Chicago Bears Players who would be to visit. After camp we went right over to his Papa's house to look through his books to find football cards for the players to sign. He is having a blast!! Thanks again for all your help in making this possible!
Christy C., parent of Rockford camper

He is having an awesome time at the camp; this is one experience he will never forget. Every morning he wakes up he is motivated and excited to go to the Chicago Bears youth camp. Jamie Molina is an awesome camp manager. The parents and kids love her interaction and energy. Chris Hill is a great football director he is very good with the kids, very patient, very knowledgeable and passionate about the game of football. The coaches are wonderful and the heroes Revie Sorey, Alan Ellis, and Ron Cox are the true Chicago Bears players; not just for being on the team or throwing a football but because after their careers they chose to make a difference in thousands of kids lives by teaching them and telling them about their life experiences, passion and love for the game of football.
Tiffany B., parent of Bolingbrook camper

He loved his first day! He came home beaming!

Sarah G., parent of Chicago - Latin School camper

He is having a great time! Surprisingly, he is not minding the heat at all because the instructors are doing such a wonderful job keeping the kids engaged.

Kathy D., parent of Downers Grove camper

The boys are enjoying themselves. They told me about the former Bears player they met today, and the motivating speech he gave the kids. I really think they were encouraged.
Shannon C., parent of Chicago - Washington Park campers

He loves camp. Lots of FOOTBALL which he really enjoys. Looking forward to the remainder of the week.
Deana T., parent of Elmhurst camper

Natasha H., parent of Chicago - Rauner YMCA camper

Check-in yesterday was super fast and easy; well organized. He enjoyed his first day and couldn't wait to return today. Thanks for asking!

Kelly S., parent of Chicago - Franklin School camper

The camp is going GREAT! Will talks about it all evening long. He especially likes his coach "Muscle". At the end of the day he is so exhausted that he falls asleep by 9:00 PM without being told its bedtime. Thanks for the great experience!

Julie S., parent of Evanston camper

My son is really enjoying the camp in Glenview.  The camp seems to be very well run and the instruction is great.
Joel D., parent of Glenview camper

I am so grateful to you all that made it possible for my son to attend the Chicago Bears Youth Camp. It has only been two days and he has a story to tell every day about the fun that he is having at camp. He has made so many new friends. He absolutely loves the coaches and activities.
Laura H., parent of Libertyville camper

They loved it! Great day yesterday! They showed me what they had learned and were excited to get back today. Thanks so much for this experience. So far so good!
Robert S., parent of Lincolnshire campers

I just got off the phone with both boys. They are having fun.  It sounds like the coaches are doing a good job keeping the boys hydrated. Their favorite part is the scrimmages, but they understand the importance of learning technique, especially at their ages. They are looking forward to the rest of the week.
James B., parent of Orland Park campers

He is loving football camp! It has been a great experience.

Erin R., parent of Chicago - Latin School camper

He is enjoying the camp. He says it's AWESOME! He loves the game of football and this camp is a great place for him to begin his formal training in the game!
Pam W., parent of Wheaton camper

He loves camp! He is already talking about going again next year! Thanks for asking.
Melissa S., parent of Naperville camper

He is having a blast at camp and has loved meeting former Bears and hearing their stories.  I have heard all about Bobby Douglas and James Thornton tonight. So far, so good!
John M., parent of Lincolnshire camper

Thank you for checking with us. The camp is going great! The coaches are wonderful with the kids and it seems to be a great atmosphere. He comes home excited and tired each day. We will definitely sign him up again next year and our younger son, too!

Michele D., parent of Glen Ellyn camper

He really enjoys the education he is getting from the coaches. He just said to us today that he is learning all the moves and now has a better knowledge of what to look for. He has also mentioned that he wants to go again to this next year. We feel this is probably the best you can get for a learning experience from the great staff that you have. If we had to score this on a 1-10 and 10 being the best, we would say it is a 10. It is great to see our son excited about this opportunity. We as parents also like the way you need to check the kids in & out and not just let them run in or out of the camp.
Jim and Melody J., parents of Downers Grove camper

He is having a great time. He even woke up on his own this morning and got ready for camp. All he could talk about last night and this morning was the camp.
Kim H., parent of Chicago - St. Ignatius camper

My son is having a great time this year! Keep up the good work.
Sherry K., parent of Burr Ridge camper

He is having the time of his life! He loves the camp. He is exhausted, but is having a great time.
Wendy B., parent of Barrington camper

He is loving football camp. He comes home everyday excited about what he has done that day and what he will be doing the next day. I think it is a great learning experience for him and will help to prepare him for his first year in tackle football.
Nicki F., parent of Algonquin camper

Camp is phenomenal! He is having a blast. The coaches are superb and are teaching him great skills. He loves camp every year and shows improvement with each year. I will recommend this camp to everyone we know. Thank you so much to everyone for a great opportunity for my son.
Amy B., parent of Rockford camper

He loves Bears Camp! We were concerned that he would get tired and resist going after the first day, but Monday evening he was talking about everything they did and he just loves it. He eagerly looks forward to each day. He loves meeting the Heroes also. From our standpoint, we feel that the kids are getting great instruction and we are very impressed with how well things are run and the coach/kid ratio. It really runs smoothly. Two thumbs up!
Ann and Bill B., parents of Oak Brook camper

He is really enjoying the camp so far!
Marlene D., parent of Lincolnshire camper

I spoke to him yesterday evening and he was really excited. He named all the friends that he made and couldn't wait to get back to them today.
Yolanda B., parent of Libertyville camper

Your camp is very well organized and runs very smoothly. Your staff is obviously very encouraging, as my son has more desire than skill, and he has been very happy both days.
Peg B., parent of Lake Forest camper

The boys are having a great time. They've been learning a lot and feel great about their football skills.

Michelle U., parent of Glen Ellyn campers

He is loving the camp, as usual! He really enjoys Coach Bruce! He says he is a lot of fun! He looks forward to this every summer!

Christine G., parent of Algonquin camper

It's going great. He has never played before and we weren't sure if he was ready for this yet. He get's his stuff ready the night before and is ready to go first thing in the morning. He needs no prompting at all.
Lisa M., parent of Lake Forest camper

I'll put this in his own words: "Football camp is really great. I feel I have been pushed to my limits and beyond! It is exhausting but it is so worth it. I've made new friends. The drills will help with my football experience. I am proud to say I will there next year!" Thanks!
Terri U., parent of Mokena camper

This is his third year and he loves your camp! Keep up the great work!
Bryan M., parent of Glen Ellyn camper

He is having a great time. I found it very organized.

Jennifer A., parent of Downers Grove camper

We were very pleased with our experience. The camp was well organized.  My son felt included. This was important as he had never played in an organized football program nor attended any football camps. His confidence in his ability grew and was encouraged along the way. Thank you for making this such a positive experience.
Judie C., parent of Naperville camper

He is having a great time at camp. He would spend the entire summer there if he could.
Denise K., parent of Lincolnshire camper

He is having a great time at camp! He's having fun and learning a lot.  I will sign him up again for next year, that's for sure. Thank you for providing this opportunity for him.
Cathy W., parent of Arlington Heights camper

The experience according to him "has been great!"  Based on his conversations with me from the camp to the house it sounds like the right combination of instruction and practice.  He is confident that he has gotten better at various skills in just one week.

Chris P., parent of Barrington camper

Yesterday morning, he said, "I love football camp!" That's all I need to hear.

Cathy S., parent of Chicago - Franklin School camper

He absolutely loves the camp! Thank you so much for everything. I will definitely be referring more parents to the camp in the future.
Nicole O., parent of Chicago - Rauner YMCA camper

He is having a tremendous time. I am also glad that the camp is covering good eating habits and staying away from junk food.
Young K., parent of Evanston camper

So far he loves the camp just as much as he has the past 2 years. He is already planning on it for next summer. We live in Michigan and send him down to stay with family and he has been at camp in Mokena, Orland Park and now in Libertyville. The instructors running the camp are great and provide positive instruction for my son who has a passion for football and especially the Bears.
Renee P., parent of Libertyville camper

He is enjoying it a great deal! He particularly likes the afternoon games and drills. He's up and ready to go each day. The veteran visits are a great touch. Thanks for asking and all of the effort you all have put in.

Margaret H., parent of Chicago - St. Ignatius camper
